Dear Laurence
I thought I would write to let you know what a wonderful and enjoyable stay we had with you on Koh Libong. The bungalow was perfect - airy, light and clean. The food was magnificent - fresh, tasty, and the fish & meat always accompanied by fresh, tasty vegetables. I was very impressed by your deep commitment to sustainable tourism development, particularly the employment and training of local people. The two boat trips we took, snorkeling over coral, and looking for the elusive dugong were very enjoyable. The company of like minded visitors from the UK and the USA only served to enhance the whole experience during our 7 days there.
I also found our discussions very stimulating and thought provoking, although not so taxing as I might have felt if I were one of your students, studying for my first degree, and you were marking the papers!
Keep up the good work, stay strong and committed, because you cause is right
and just, and it will lead the world to a better place.
Best regards
Paul Seville, England.
P.S We saw a dugong swimming in the sea off the west coast of Palawan Island in the Phillippines on Christmas Day, right alongside our boat. Now we know we'll have double good luck. I sincerely hope you, your family, and your staff do too.
