Sitting here on the veranda of the Haadyao Nature Resort watching the sun rise, listening to the birds, hearing some boatman prepare for the day, catching a glimpse of a black neck stork swoop down to catch its meal, I’m filled with the need to capture this moment in my mind’s eye.
Staying here has been a wonderful experience, the dugong viewing was a tantalizing and delightful moment knowing that a rare animal still has a chance. Seeing hundreds of Eurasian curlews was a new experience for me. The canopy walk was educational and worth the trip.
My only negative comment is one directed mainly to myself for this resort that should be visited with a group of friends and relatives. My mistake for traveling solo. The various tours here are often best experienced in groups.
