We came and just stayed one night here at the very friendly Haadyao Nature Resort : ) this morning we went on the Libong Island Tour and within 20 minutes of leaving the resort, we saw not one but TWO dugongs.
We also then saw a lot of birds (curlews, waders and an eagle) and pinkish colored dolphins.
If you go on a dugong tour:
Beg your driver to follow any dugongs you find. They are really very rare and so you should stay with them as long as possible.
Keep looking for animals really hard … you never know.
