Wow! We must have been very lucky. It was thunderstorm the previous night and in the morning the water was a bit muddy so we thought that we wouldn’t see any dugongs. But just then, they started coming to the surface – with a few dolphins! In the end, our wonderful guide said that it was the first time he had seen two sea mammals at the same time together. We didn’t really see the face of the dugong but the beautiful tale, a bit like a whale’s tale, that it showed in the air. It really looks like a mermaid’s tail. We were also lucky to see the animals for long time with so many sightings that we didn’t really count them.
After the boat trip we went on a bicycle trip around the island. Had a great volleyball and snooker game with the local kids and fellows!
