I appreciate the friendly and helpful family

I stayed at both Haadyao and Libong Nature Beach Resort and had a wonderful time at both. I appreciate the friendly and helpful family (I talked for hours with mom Intira about her plans to establish an international retirement/co-housing (www.cohousing.org) somewhere near Trang. The island hopping tour was wonderful, especially the swim to the Emerald Cave.

Alas, I didn’t see many birds or a dugong on the tour from Libong as it was too windy so I suggest you skip that on a windy day and just bicycle round instead. I really relaxed here and slept extremely well as its very quiet after the morning fisher people go out. I enjoyed having a sense of the local muslim community by observing their village and call to prayer. May this area stay pristine and protected for the sake of the natural life and future generations.
