A combination of luck and coincidence brought us to Hat Jao Mai. After trekking through Malaysia without being too impressed, we decided to get off the standard route and ended up in this place. We have had some (much needed) relaxing days) here. I particularly enjoyed the secret beach close by. And just the thought of being at Yao Beach, having 5 km of a beautiful sandy beach all to ourselves with no one else around will help me get through the cold winter we will have to face when we come home to Norway.
